There are about 600 homes in our neighborhood along with the
Parkmead Elementary School, the Dorris-Eaton School, the Hillside
Covenant Church and the Chabad of Contra Costa, while Las Lomas High
School is just across from us on
South Main Street. The Las Trampas Creek and the Tice Valley Creek both
run through our neighborhood, and most of the homes are
single story ranch houses that were built after World War II and in the
1950s. We are in walking distance of downtown Walnut Creek with about
one third of the homes incorporated within the city boundary.
